UVA Real Estate Conference

The White Ruffin Byron Center for Real Estate hosts the annual UVA Real Estate Conference to provide valuable and timely insight from thought leaders in the real estate industry and networking opportunities for UVA students, alumni, faculty, staff and friends.

Save the date! The Center will host its 2026 UVA Real Estate Conference on Friday, Nov. 13, at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville. Keep an eye on the conference website for more details and to register this summer.

Robert G. Byron Distinguished Alumni Award

The Center honored Robert G. Byron, Chairman, Co-CEO, and Co-Founder of Blue Vista Capital Management, as the first recipient of the Distinguished Alumni Award at the 2022 Conference, which took place at the UVA McIntire School of Commerce.

In recognition of Mr. Byron's extraordinary leadership and tireless drive leading to the Center’s formation, this honor will be henceforward and forevermore be known as the White Ruffin Byron Center for Real Estate Robert G. Byron Distinguished Alumni Award and presented to the recipient at our conference each fall.
