Drew Sutton (McIntire '10)

Partner, Southeast Apartment Investors

Drew Sutton is a Partner at Southeast Apartment Investors, a private investment firm focused on the development and acquisition of residential properties located in the Southeastern United States. Since joining SAI in 2016, Sutton has been involved in the development and acquisition of over 2,000 units representing over $325 million in capitalization.

Prior to joining SAI, Sutton was an Associate at Summit Park, a private investment firm focused on acquisitions of lower-middle-market businesses across a number of industries. Prior to Summit Park, Sutton served as an Analyst at Jefferies in the investment banking division.

Sutton holds a B.S. from the McIntire School of Commerce at the University of Virginia and an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.

Sutton serves on the Real Estate Committee for Daly Seven Inc., a hotel management and development company with over 40 properties in North Carolina, South Carolina, and Virginia. He previously served on the board of directors of KindHeart Inc., a surgical training startup that was successfully sold to Intuitive Surgical Inc.

Sutton lives in Charlotte, NC, and is married with two children, John (5) and Teddy (1).
